The Economic Times is not a very economical use of my time

India: Take One

Rudeness is a way of life. I almost hit someone the other day but I have managed to block out the Indian stare, much to my amazement so that's one point to me!

Watching TV, involves flicking through 93 channels, three or four times and then switching the TV off

Indians are the most skillfull drivers, they not only have to avoid other equally skilled drivers but also skilled pedestrains who somehow behave as though they are constantly drunk and cannot walk straight so you never know when one of them might suddenly hit you

I have been yelled at by my friend for asking her to be polite, gracious and quiet. "If you are those things Ras, you will never get anywhere" is what I've been told.

And I have finally re-discovered those things in the cars called "horns". Did you guys know they exist?

And, there is a constant air of mystery surrounding the city. It's called SMOG.

Today is my last day at work and I'm a mixed bag of emotions.
I'm anxious, sad, excited, frightened, happy
I'm trying to get perspective and embrace all emotions
I'm trying to stay calm
I don't think I'm doing very well
